Submitted: 08-20-2012 by meanderlee This is a great little solo boat. [Royalite] Super lightweight, tracks well, handles wind well, feels comfortable. Looks good. Durable. Easy to handle on portage. Royalite oilcans a bit, as noted here. This is the favorite boat among the guides at the livery where I work. I personally prefer a bigger boat, even solo. 16' & up. I like kneeling behind the yoke of a big boat. But if you want a solo boat mostly for quiet rivers, this is an excellent choice.
