For the price, including paddle and carrier, can't be beat. I bought it last year and have used it several times on Long Island Sound. As long as it's not too windy, it's great. Took it out at night and paddled along City Island - beautiful experience. It tracks nicely and is very stable.
Only problem - it weighs a ton! Well, not a ton, but it's heavy. It's hard to lift by myself, although I can do it. So, if weight is not a problem, I recommend it. But if you're not too strong and will be single handing it on top of a car or onto a yacht, a lighter kayak might be better. |
