Submitted: 06-08-2012 by sb The kayak itself is very stable and sturdy, however the seat shrinks and curls from heat/sun exposure and the manufacturer refuses to replace it, so plan to spend another $50 to $100 for a replacement seat. My seat is attached to the kayak with rivets/screws so it is not easily removable, and the shrinkage caused the seat to pull up the rivets and detach itself from the kayak.
