This is a great tandem kayak. My wife and I rented one of these and I ordered one for us the same night. I purchased it initially so that my wife and I could go kayaking together, with the thought that I could go alone sometimes as well, and that really is the way it worked out. For two people, this is a stable ride and can handle open water very easily. We take it out on the bay, and can handle the biggest of waves or wakes. It really met our needs as a couple.
I've also taken it out often on my own. It will handle any size wave or wake, and is very stable. In very windy conditions on my own, it can be a handful, but it's not really challenging - it just takes a while to get to your destination. All in all, I'm very happy with this kayak. |
