Submitted: 05-29-2012 by remintn I found the paddle I wanted to try on a web site: The BB Espresso 14. When I got to my local shop they were all out of them so when I picked up the Sunburst 14 degree bent shaft paddle; I instantly fell in love with the weight of the paddle. I never used a paddle this light or this expensive. Now that I had it out on the water I will never use another cheap or strait shaft paddle on flat water. I'll save the cheap ones for the river. When I gave it to my son to try, he seemed to have more power and less spray on the end of his strokes.
