For the money I personally don't think you can buy a better kayak if you want something to go out onto the sea or up to the lake district. I've paddled round South Stack in North Wales through rip currents in this and never been thrown out of it (even hitting the rip current at 90 degrees!). Have done many day trips covering 20 miles or so and there is more than enough room for storage. I also fish off this kayak both with a hand line as well as a rod and it handles both perfectly. It's light enough to be carried from the car to the water and because it's a sit on top if you did ever fall out you can climb back in without a problem! If you've got around 390.00 to spend then this should be your first choice!
