Submitted: 12-13-2011 by bobbyonoahu My family rented a Malibu 2XL this weekend for a trip to Flat Island and then off to the Mokulele Islands. I am a large man and wife is medium sized. This boat is extremely stable with 2 people. When playing around with 3 people, it became very tipsy. I suggest only planning on going with 2 adults and if you are small framed, a small child as a third. While paddling single the 2XL was slow but very maneuverable. A good surprise. This boat had none of the fun of a Scrambler, but it will get you from A to B well. I would have preferred 2 Scramblers over renting this boat. I would never own this boat.
