I was lucky enough to start reading about FP's adventures before the book.. a bit like reading BlackHawk Down online before the movie.. but more realistic. Anyway,s I to was on a journey at the same time as FP but mine involved getting rid of 48kg I did not need anymore. I read FP's blog daily and he helped me gain some motivation to get back into yacking. I started with a SeaYak then 4 months later was back paddling a K1. I read FP's book a few weeks ago and other than Cry Apache was the only book I read from cover to cover. Well done mate, you are more of an inspiration than you will ever know.
