Submitted: 08-12-2000 by DJI I rented a manteo for a weekend along with 2 othr kayaks (Sun Velocity & Loon 138). Although the Manteo handled quite well, I had difficulty getting in & out. I'm sure my difficulty was due to the fact that I am slightly larger than average. I ended up purchasing the Loon 138. Larger, new paddlers may find the Manteo to be difficult to enter & exit.
