Submitted: 09-21-2010 by Mike I recently purchased a second-hand Sirocco kayak and am delighted with it. I am 6ft 2in and 100Kg and this fits me like a glove. Although it is about three years old and well used, there is no sign of "oil canning" and it feels so solid and well built. The initial stability is low which allows easy edging and turning while the secondary stability is good. The seat has little padding, but remains comfortable for long periods. I have had many kayaks and am now an old retiree who paddles several times a week in sunny Queensland Australia where we paddle all year round. If you want some bang for your buck and it fits you I hope you will be as happy as I am
