Submitted: 07-31-2000 by Michael Edelman The Klepper Aerius I is the standard by which all other folding kayaks are judged. It's light, rugged, folds into a small package, and it's amazingly seaworthy. While not as high performance a boat as, say, the Feathercraft Khatsalano, the Aerius is a more versitile and rugged boat. It's still pretty quick, it turns on a dime, and likeit's bigger brother the Aerius II it's been on major expeditions around the world. I had one for a year, sold it, and now I'm looking for another used one. That one I'm keeping ;-) |
