After a number of weeks of research I bought my Pungo 120. I ventured out on the Bow River for a 2 hour paddle and all I can say is WOW. My past kayak experience has been limited to a number of multi-day ocean kayaking trips (in 17 footer sea kayaks) so paddling a smaller kayak without a rudder on a big river was a new experience. Any concerns I harbored regarding maneuverability, tracking and stability were erased within minutes. The boat is exceptionally comfortable and within the first 15 minutes I was looking for the faster moving water and darting back and forth between the shores with a huge smile plastered on my face. I love this boat! |
