Submitted: 06-25-2010 by PFO I bought a Dirigo 106 kayak 14 months ago. Before buying I contacted Old Town for a recommendation. I have used the kayak about 8 times on a river in Wisconsin and the bottom is wearing through, the inside of the "Tri Hull" has many large cracks in it and there is now a hole in the bottom of the boat. Old Town says the kayak is not for rivers with rocks! I am out an 800.00 dollar kayak and they won't do anything but send me a patch kit. My old kayak was a cheap now discontinued Kiowi 10 single layer and I used it for 20 years on the same river. I will not buy anything from Old Town again
