It offers the reader the author's in-depth personal knowledge gained from experiences around the world and from running a shop dedicated to kayak fishing. I especially liked the maintenance and repair section and other tidbits that go overlooked in other books. Not species-specific, but a detailed overview of the sport with valuable info. A must read for any kayak fisherman.
