Submitted: 03-19-2010 by dshewbridge I bought the Ripper based on needing a smaller boat to accompany my larger Wilderness system tandem. I'm very happy with the weight and size of the boat, but at 160 pounds, the boat doesn't have enough buoyancy to support my weight. Consequently, I'm always paddling while sitting in a pool of water. Otherwise, it handles very well. May be a better vessel for someone lighter. My wife does fine in it at an even 100 pounds.
