It is very stable & turns on a dime like a short (10') kayak would be expected to. It tracks fine; like all short kayaks, it pulls to one side then the other, but this is not a problem. If you're looking for a $900 kayak for $200, you'll be disappointed; otherwise, this is a great value. Easy for one person to handle, it shows every sign of durability.
