I sold my text books last May and bought a Blast. All 9 feet and 6 inches of it fit in the back of my pick-up truck's box with the tail gate down. Use the drain plug as a tie down point and its loaded. Love the light weight 32-40lbs dripping wet but it is a bit wide in the paddle area, that just makes it easier to get in and out of. Been down class 1 rapids, moving rivers 6+mph, and some big 75+acre lakes but stay out of the wind or close to shore. It will take hits from rocks and stumps and grass drags with out much wear, it's a great value for the $amount of easy fun on the water.
