I bought my Pelican Apex 130 DLX at a big box store for $300.00. It has more than exceeded my expectations. I have had it on flat water lakes, and on Long Island Sound in 2-3 foot chop. It has handled everything very well. I use mine for fishing and it gets me where I need to go. It came with a center located rod holder, and I added a couple more. It is not the fastest sit-on-top kayak out there, but it is very stable -- I can even stand on it.
For the price it is a great kayak. |
