Submitted: 06-01-2009 by BMK1 I bought the Search for me and a small 8 foot SOT for my daughter. My daughter is 10 and this was her first time paddling. She could not control her 8 foot boat at all and after about 15 minutes she was pretty frustrated and ready to give it up. I put her on the Search and she looked like a pro and was able to paddle that thing in a straight line at pretty good speed with no problems at all. I love this boat and will be buying another in the near future.
