I bought this lamp for camping and night paddling and have used it over a dozen times over more than a year time period. I've not yet had to replace the batteries. Just recently, I fell into waist deep murky river water at night and it slipped off my head. I just knew I had lost it. The group continued on our night paddle for a couple of hours and when we returned, someone saw a red glow in the muddy water. I retrieved my headlamp, continued to use it, and it still works great today after hours of being submerged.
If I ever have to buy another, the Energizer will be the one. I highly recommend it. Besides its durability, the 2 LEDs are very bright and the red one is quite handy, too. |
