Submitted: 05-10-2009 by Samh I bought a Scanoe, new, in 1982 and have put thousands of hours floating and fishing out of it. It's been great. It did develop two dime sized holes in the bottom where the Aluminum supports rubbed. I patched it by roughing it up with 80 grit sandpaper and then using fiberglass rosin and fiberglass cloth, it has worked perfect for 2 years now.
