Submitted: 04-13-2009 by redrivercanoe Got my 700X in 2003, and its been a great kayak. After 6 years, and many thousands of miles, I am confident in saying that this boat is a 10. I use it for racing also, and over 10 miles, avg speed is 6.7 mph, so it is very fast and efficient. Hatches have let some water in, but very little. Can carry a good load for tripping too. Buy it.
