Submitted: 01-29-2009 by randya2 Update: I finally used the Malibu 2 tandem for the first time. Ocean Kayak's weight capacity is way way off! Our combined weight was 325#. That weight put the boat way down in the water, it was hard to paddle, and it took away most of the stability. I still like the kayak, but the weight capacity should be lowered to no more then about 250#. You could go a little more, but you're going to have an awful slow ride!
