Submitted: 06-18-2000 by RC I recently purchased a Looksha Sport poly. It's my first kayak, even though I have been kayaking for several years. The other reviewers referred to it's "tippiness." I do not find this to be true. I am not a beginner, but I am not advanced either, and I find it quite stable. I have had it out in some pretty good chop and it seems to track quite well (I do have a rudder) and cut through the waves with ease. The poly is quite heavy (63lbs) but I could not afford glass or kevlar at this time.
