Submitted: 08-30-2008 by chris The Approach is a great boat for whitewater beginners or people that want to do flatwater and some whitewater. I learned in this kayak. I have the 10 and roll it with no problem. It did take me about a month to learn and its harder than most whitewater boats, but when you can roll a boat you can roll any boat. my bulkhead does leak a little bit and that's annoying. The footpegs don't bother me at all, I've done class 3 water with no problem. It's a good stable boat for big rivers.
