I used it for the first time with boat paddles and it was a little tippy.....bought the kayak double paddle and solved that problem...I got the last camo/green one Dicks Sporting goods had in the KC area on a clearance sale for $399.00. I would recommend this kayak to anyone...don't wait for spring and pay full price...buy one now while they are on fall clearance...lol
