This is a great canoe and I would recommend it to others. I do a lot of canoeing and kayaking as I own an outfitter company and do kayak tours. The boat is very stable and turns on a dime. As like all canoes and kayaks it has its place. It works very well on swift moving rivers. Yes it is a little slow and heavy. But me and my 14 year old daughter did real well in it. You can put it up on it's chine and still feel stable. I was even able to stand up in it and not feel like you are going swimming. The plastic seems pretty strong as we bounced off some rocks on our trip. I like it!!!! |
