UPDATE: I still rate it at an 8.5
I'm reposting to report that I junked the rudder that came with the boat. It was far too big and was very susceptible to wake coming in from the side. I custom ordered an Nelo K2 fin for this boat from Nelo in Portugal. While it cost over $80 with shipping and currency conversion, it was worth it. Nelo has to add bushings to the shaft since the Razor has a larger rudder shaft hole. The boat holds a straight line and is now uneffected by wake. The original rudder really was horrible. Best times in this boat so far are a 2:14 500, and a 4:45 1000. |
