I purchased two Stearns Yakutat kayaks in 2006 for use on vacation. So far I have only them between 8-10 times. Last week, while attempting to assemble one of the kayaks for use on the Swan River in Cape Cod, I broke the slider on the main (forward) sipper which rendered the vessel useless. So far Stearn's has not responded to either of the requests for support that I have made (firstname.lastname@example.org). I am very disappointed in both the Yakutat product and Stearns' refusal to provide support.
