I bought the hoist through eBay. It was advertised to lift kayak, bike, or other loads up to 100 lb. But this 2-point hoist is not suitable for kayak at all. The quality of materials supplied in the package was poor: the 2 mounting screws (metric size) snapped during installation to the joist and the rope fell out of pulley track when I tried to raise my kayak. The product may be okay for a bike but definitely not for a kayak. |
