Submitted: 05-02-2008 by Greg I bought my Pursuit used and asked the previous owner about the weight limit. He said he had been 245 lb. and didn't have a problem with it. That gave me some comfort, as I too am 245, so I bought it. Yes, it is a bit tippy feeling but otherwise I feel quite comfortable with it. The first time out on the Intracoastal in FL I had to deal with a close pass from a 75 foot yacht that didn't care to slow down for me. No problem. I've dealt with many more such wakes and have yet to feel really at risk, although I find it best to turn into the wake and take it head on. The Pursuit is also much faster than my tandem used alone.
