A friend donated a Loon 100 to my cause and I have been happy ever since. I took it on a three day river trip which included class II-III rapids. Realistically, this boat is way too small for that trip, but I made it, never spilled, and got all my gear and myself there. I find it to be very stable and responsive - a good balance between mild whitewater action and touring comfort. Definitely the perfect dayboat. |
