Just picked up my brand new design Tampico 140L. It has the super bumped-up deck which accommodates even longer legs! I am 5'10"/150 pounds and have room to spare. Foot peg adjustments are also very generous. The seat could be more comfortable, but a Skwoosh cushion and lumbar support improved the situation significantly. The Trylon material makes transporting a breeze. Easy to load and the finish is gorgeous. Have only had it out on the Intracoastal Waterway, but two-foot waves didn't faze it a bit. Tracks like a dream (order it with the rudder - unbelievably effective)and easily hits 4-5 mph as it cuts through the water like a razor. Turning at first was difficult, but I found that by leaning just a small amount allowed for a very adequate turn. Too bad I can't attach a photo - the iridescent yellow color glows green in the sun. Well done, Hurricane - this one's a keeper. |
