Submitted: 10-29-2007 by Orsi I find the fiberglass Q to be fast boat in the rough stuff, not to mention in strong headwinds where the clipper bow is the perfect tool. And a surprisingly nimble boat for its length. With the skeg deployed it is a fast boat downwinds. Crosswinds; skeg medium usage or paddle on edge, otherwise it will weathercock. Rolls ok. The Q is not a boat were aggressive edging is a must. Plenty of first stability and sec. stab. is ok. A beginner feels not so uncomfortable in the Q. A forgiving boat for its beam. A rough stuff boat indeed, but yet a good one on flat waters.
