Submitted: 05-02-2000 by Dan Carlisle's bent shaft spoon-bladed paddle is one terrific beater, especially for the price (<$30). It's not pretty, that's for sure, but if nothing else I'd buy it for a spare or a loaner. Since the paddle is directional (unlike the straight-shaft, flat-blade model), how about an ergonomic grip, instead of that generic pear shape?
