Submitted: 02-19-1999 by RTB Our family has had two Acadias for the past two years. We have used them in a variety of situations from flat-water lakes to stretches of the Colorado River. They have been used on day outings and over night trips. Both my ten-year-old son and myself have paddled them through class II rapids on the Colorado. They are very stable and provide great comfort. I tell friends that they are the Swiss Army Knife of Kayaks. When my daughter gets older I'll probably buy another one for her.
