Submitted: 07-23-2007 by Marc Well, I've taken the Otter Sport on flat water..slow rivers..and even in 5-8ft waves on Lake Erie. And no, I'm not lying. I surfed amazingly well...I mean..It is a slow boat but you can do alot with any type. I learned to roll this thing easily which was a task in itself. I'd recommend anyone starting out kayaking to learn some type of rescue, especially rolling. Thanks
