Submitted: 04-23-2007 by rpa The saddles are NOT flexible. Your kayak must be the exact shape of the saddles for this to work. I own a Cobra Fish n Dive, and boat will only rest on the top of the saddles no matter where the saddles are moved. I'm taking mine back and ordering a Thule 878xt X 2. Hopefully they will be more adjustable.
