This review is for the Pungo Superlite-now known as the Pungo Classic. This was my first kayak. I owned this boat for 2 years. Great all around kayak that I used mostly for small stream floats. Hull design would be good for big water to cut though waves. This made it somewhat difficult to turn in moving water. Great stability. Plenty of cockpit room and easy to get in and out of. Finding a neo sprayskirt can be challenging and expensive. I fished out of it and you can consider doing overnight trips but keep the weight down. It is lightweight and durable. Great phase3 seat! Plenty of deck rigging for gear. Sold for a Dagger Blackwater-better moving water design but I miss the Phase3 seat. |
