Submitted: 10-02-2006 by Mike I bought this canoe on sale in the spring. I was looking for a stable, tough canoe to use paddling and hunting with my son. I have been very happy with it so far. It seems heavier than 70 pounds, but once you get the feel for it, car-topping with it is doable. As mentioned, it can be tough to control in a high crosswind.
