Submitted: 09-19-2006 by librarymonkey27 First off this is the first Kayak I have owned, the second I have paddled. The previous was a Perception (I think Swifty). Second off, I stepped into the Pursuit and rolled. So I spend a wet hour in the kayak. This kayak was much tippier and harder to keep on track. It was fun and easy to paddle, but after reading other reviews I wondered if a different paddle might have made easie going. The water proof hatches let water in during the roll. The valve at the end was good for empting water, but it is kind of chinzy and I doubt will long. So far it is a nice beginner boat, but already thinking of a rudder to keep it going straight.
