Its main use for me is solo float trips, from day trips in California to week-long fishing trips in Alaska and Argentina. I have taken it loaded through class III rapids and it performed splendidly. I'm thinking about getting a Lynx II to load for longer trips, but I have been very happy with the Lynx I.
