Should be a negative 10! I ordered this rack for two reasons - 1) Because it was less than the Yakima (which I'm ordering soon) - and 2) They could ship it sooner than the Yakima. Anyway, it shook so bad that I thought I was driving in an earthquake! My Dad and I thought that the weight of the boat would help with this problem - WRONG! I explained to the guy at The Rack Warehouse that I have a sporty S-10 with flaired rear fender wells - he said it shouldn't pose a problem. WRONG AGAIN! I forgot to mention (and he forgot to ask) whether it had a side step - apparently, this makes a difference. I called them and told them the problem, and they're going to refund my money. Now I can apply that to a real rack system - Yakima! |
