I had the opportunity to paddle this boat on flat water for about 30 minutes. This is a new model for P&H and is 16' long, 21.5 inches wide & is a low volume boat. I am 5'7", 155# and a BCU L2 coach. Build quality is typical P&H, excellent. I found this boat to have excellent primary & secondary stability yet it is very easy to edge. Tracking was much better than other Capellas I have paddled, yet it only took a slight edge to initiate a tight turn. Rolling, sculling, bracing , etc. were all easy & comfortable. If you are a small to med. size paddler interested in a composite boat in this range don't miss trying this one out! |
