I just want to throw a caution out there if you were thinking of buying one of these without sitting in it and trying it out (i.e. online purchase). My wife got me one for FD, and when I went to get into it, I found I couldn't. Literally. I'm 6-1, 240. I was bummed out because it's a cool little Yak, and looked like it would be perfect for my purposes. The price was right, too - $199. I took it back to Dick's and ended up getting a WS Pamlico 100, and although only 6" longer, fits with plenty of room to spare. Large cockpit! There's a yak for everyone out there, somewhere. |
