Submitted: 06-13-2006 by Tim The Black Rec is wonderfully light even though it is "heavy" compared to other paddles ZRE makes. The blade doesn't just go in cleanly, it kisses the water. It is an incredible paddle. I love wood but now only for a spare paddle. I bought one for my wife, too, she deserves the best even though she ended up with me! Get yourself a Black Rec. You won't regret it.
