Submitted: 05-31-2006 by Stephanie N. I bought this on a whim. The price was right and the weather was nice. I LOVE it. It is fine for a first kayak. I felt very comforable and safe and I imagine that it will last me some time. One drawback is the seat back loosens after a while. But other than that it is great. Plus, it's easy to just reach around and tighten again. I would recommend a splash skirt. Otherwise you will have a wet lap.
