On a trip to Maine I tested the Surge out and ended up buying one from the local dealer. It's amazingly light, tracks well, handles well in a cross breeze, knifes through small chop and cuts through large 6' waves easily. Did I mention fast. If you want one of the fastest boats out there, something that can handle any kind of weather, that tracks well and just needs a little lean to turn and doesn't have a rudder of skeg to get fouled, this is the ultimate boat.
