| Our mission is to explore the wild places and wild animals that inhabit our wonderful state and country. We not only want to explore the countryside but we want to improve it and educate people to the damages that are being done to it.
We started exploring when Sam was seven. I was concerned that when he gets older, some of the major natural events that happen every year may be gone. So I took him to see the spring migration of sandhill cranes through Nebraska, the tundra swan migration in the fall through the Mississippi River, and sharptail grouse mating dance in the springtime, among other things. As we started to learn more about these animals we found out how much in peril they are. We knew we had to do something besides watch and photograph them. They need our help.
